Wordmark

Our primary logo. Use it wherever there's room for the name. The black and white versions are for one-colour work only — print, engraving, mono logo strips.

Symbol

For tight spaces, or where Polar is already named. Its corners are rounded, so don't use it anywhere that rounds the image again — use the app icon instead.

App icon

For anywhere the platform rounds or crops the image itself — social avatars, app stores, Slack, favicons. The corners are square on purpose, so they don't get clipped twice.

Minimum sizes

Never render a lockup smaller than these heights — below them the mark stops being legible.

Please don't

A few things that break the mark. If you're unsure, ask before shipping it.

  • Don't stretch, squash, or rotate the logo — scale it proportionally.
  • Don't recolour it. Full colour, black, or white are the only options.
  • Don't rebuild or redraw the mark, or set the name in a different typeface.
  • Don't add shadows, outlines, or effects to the logo.
  • Don't place the rounded symbol anywhere that rounds it again — use the app icon.
  • Don't crowd it: leave clear space of at least the symbol's height on every side.
